  24. Phase 5 has designed a PowerPC board for the A4000/3000 Amigas.
  25. It will be available soon (Feb? 96) to developers and in mid - end 96 to *ALL*
  26. AMIGA users (even A1200!!).
  27. Phase 5 will *NOT* port the Amiga OS to PPC, they say that's the job of Amiga
  28. Techno (they're working with Phase 5 on it). But Phase 5 will do the EXEC port
  29. to PPC plus the 680x0 emulation! The PPC EXEC will include version 3 of the
  30. CyberGFX system. The last rumor I heard was that CyberGFX 3 is being tested
  31. now.
  32. ECS and AGA will be a lot faster than now, without doing anything to the
  33. hardware. This CyberGFX will support nearly all GFX boards (even my A2410!).

  35. Further this GFX system will include 3D and realtime mapping and video
  36. algorithms so that programmers only need to call them!

  38. In an interview Phase 5 said that they would like to know what the new GFX
  39. chips developed by AMIGA Technology (24bit gfx, planar & chunky, plus some
  40. features of AAA and 16 bit sound) will look like and how far this development
  41. has gone so far.
